This is my piggy. He was just about 3. Click more. This is a brief history of Clyde. On June 18th, 2002 I put this picture up on subinev.com, introducing my adorable new pet, Clyde, to the world. I named him after the orange ghost in Pac-Man. One day he made such a mess that he needed a bath. For about an hour he was the unahappiest little piggy in the world but he sure was cute. For reasons I'll never know, one of his favorite activities was to just sit in his food and squeak. Then he'd take a sip from his water bottle and spin around a few times then end up back in his food. Clyde with his mommy. Bye Clyde. I'll miss you so much and I'm sorry I didn't get to see you very much in the past year but I really wish I could have been there more.
Clyde. 2002-2005.

I soon discovered that he made a lovely model.

Jen and I took A LOT of pictures of our pet. We were basically playing with him all the time. He deserved all the attention in the world, and he got it.
He was very lucky to get to run around on the floor a lot, and sometimes he'd be given a tomato or a carrot, which he would take under the table to hide and munch.
Because I worked from home most of the time we would spend the days together. Actually we had very interesting conversations, I guess since we had so much in common. I mean he even liked reflection photos as much as me.
Sometimes he would sit on my shoulder while I worked or played on the computer.
He would stick his nose out of his cage when he wanted attention.
Clyde hung out with me during the big blackout.
He'd been sick all this past week and visiting the vet and so I went to see him a few times and tried to help out to give him his medicine and feed him. These are from Saturday.
Me with my little guy.

Jeremiah and I are happy to have spent that summer weekend pigsitting Clyde. I will never forget the outpouring of oohs and ahhs on the M15 bus as I transported lil' Clyde from my office in Chelsea to our apartment in Spanish Harlem...fellow passengers loved him and wanted to know where to buy their own. In loving memory.
