I should pay more attention to the internet | Main | a Midnight Special from Jelly
It's Christmas in July! Well, at least it feels that way. I've been walking around by the ocean, watching what's left of the palm trees blow in the wind, people are ice skating on the fake plastic ice in tee shirts, and there's a fluffy stuffed bear hanging out on a bench. Last night at the Inkwell Coffee House I had a blended iced beverage, and it didn't seem the least bit out of season. I'm not sure what all this crazy weather is about, but it can't be a good sign. It is, however, very pleasant at least. Merry Christmas and happy everything else (why does only Christmas get to be merry? Don't other holidays of this season make people just as merry?) What are everybody's plans for New Year's Eve? I want to hear some creative answers.... For those without plans yet, might I make a very good suggestion: New Year's Eve two-floor event with: Tickets are available in advance at Somethin' Else located at 294 5th Ave in Park Slope, Brooklyn http://www.knittingfactory.com for more info. That's going to be a definite good time. By the way, thanks to Largehearted Boy for linking up the new MiG demos. For more previously unreleased Man in Gray songs, check out Freeindie.com. They just put up a new 'web mix' of our songs that includes one never-before-heard track and a new mp3 of the closing track from our EP. Happy Christmas and Merry everything else!
