Mission of Burma : The Obliterati | Main | 30 Seconds over Brooklyn
I was walking back from the guitar shop this afternoon and above the screaming minihumans playing outside the middle school on 5th ave I heard drums. I figured that a school band was just practicing and then a bass started in. Next? Vocals start: "I'm a street walking cheetah with a hide full of napalm And it continued - an incredibly faithful rendition of Iggy Pop's "Search and Destroy." It definitely made me smile. It was certainly better than the half-hearted renditions of Nirvana songs that I've heard coming from the fancy billion dollar apartments on 3rd St. Oh how I love Park Slope. A much more detailed and perhaps interesting post that may or may not be related to this little story is to come.
I'm a runaway son of the nuclear A-bomb
I am a world's forgotten boy"

those minihumans on 3rd st. across from my (non-billion dollar window). I want to give them all detention. they ruin "come as you are" on a weekly basis. why aren't they covering my morning romance out boy songs?
