12:57 AM - busy day

In August I'm moving again - but this time it's to a new neighborhood! That's right, no more Park Slope for me. I'll be just across the good old Gowanus in lovely Carroll Gardens. We signed the lease today and so everything is taken care of - no need for the traditional July wandering around crappy non-neighborhoods with brokers who just want to take our money for an apartment that's falling apart. And we'll be living with a very nice friend of ours, as well as his two kitties. Did I mention a roof all to ourselves with gorgeous Manhattan views?

After the lease signing we went for a walk, had some burritos, and then did a double feature - first An Inconvenient Truth to get us thinking and put the fear of science and doom into us and then The Break-Up to kill some of those overactive brain cells. It was a lovely day.
