10:25 AM - no rock n' rollin
I'm about to blow your mind. There used to be a club in NYC called Acme Underground / Under ACME (the restaurant). The food upstairs was pretty good. The venue downstairs was a great space of a decent size that was booked horribly. I think they tried to fix that at some point and build a better reputation but as far as I know it's not much of a hotspot for rock shows. However they also do other events occasionally, and tonight is one of those nights. The Yankee Pot Roast/Drink at Work reading/comedy show is happening there tonight (now called Ace of Clubs) and I know at least one hilarious and quite charming lady that will be getting up on stage and blowing minds in her own way. It's only $5. 8pm. See you there.
