03:23 PM - D: Undercover

As you may or may not know, I tend to run with a wild bunch of hooligans, known for crazy antics like starting bands at the drop of a hat and impromptu cover songs, fueled by whiskey and cheap hot dogs, performed under the cover of night in the dark recesses of this city... though most notoriously there is a habit of working in secret for months to create tribute albums for people's birthdays, and there sure is plenty of proof that such accusations are true. First there was Guitarded, the album orchestrated by D which included covers of songs that I'd written, then Guitarmy - again organized by D and this time covers of songs written by Jeremy, for his birthday (did mp3s of that ever end up online?), and now there is a third.

D's thing is cover songs. She's been known to hound bands for months, even years, to cover songs that she thinks would be appropriate. So of course when the question of what to do for her came up it seemed pretty obvious. There's a pretty wide range of bands covered, and mp3s and D's responses are provided here. Just to make it easier on some people, here are the mp3s for your streaming and downloading pleasure. I was going to pick out some favorites but they're all just so good.
