07:54 AM - new Via Audio tracks

This morning I got an update from Via Audio with links to two new tracks - check them out:

Via Audio - "We Can Be Good"
Via Audio - "Modern Day Saints" * (highly recommended!)

These were recorded during the band's recent sessions with Jim Eno from Spoon. Looks like things are really taking off for the band, with Death Cab For Cutie's Chris Walla's interest in the band apparently giving them a big much-deserved push. Look for them this year at CMJ - they'll be at Pianos on Saturday.

Bonus! One of the guitarists from Via Audio has another band called Pineapple Island Tribesmen who I saw recently in a basement in NJ. They're a little silly, a little proggy, and totally goofy and awesome. Like Thurston Moore fronting a gypsy cult charging up a snow covered mountain, hunting the yeti.
