03:40 PM - Rainer Maria show tonight at Bowery Ballroom

Well here we are folks. As mentioned previously, Rainer Maria are calling it quits. The NY Sun did an article on them.AM NY has an article that discusses opening band (and Subinev favorite and first ever band to get a Robotinev) Pela and how Rainer Maria have helped the band out - including asking them to open the show tonight at Bowery Ballroom. Daylight's For the Birds are also on the sold out bill. Though I'm sad to see one of my favorite bands in recent years give up, I am really looking forward to this show.

Rainer Maria's final show ever will be tomorrow night at Northsix with anotehr fantastic local group, the Jealous Girlfriends, opening. Nice job picking openings for these last few shows!
