Congratulations to Pela (also known as the first Robotinev band,) who signed a contract today with Great Society (apparently the newest part of the Worlds Fair Label Group,) making the release of their long-awaited album Anytown Grafitti (I love that title) a reality come April 24th! One track from the upcoming release, "The Song Writes Itself," also appears on Music For Robots: Vol. 2. Read on for their message: "Alright, Alright! We are glad to inform you we have signed a record contract today with a label called Great Society. They are a new, vibrant company full of very enthusiastic people, which means a lot of things. But immediately it means we are getting our album, Anytown Graffiti, out to the whole world. It's been a long year for this album. We've recorded, re-recorded and written new songs to make this album what it is and we are proud of it. Which means now we can come and play shows in lots of towns and cities around this world. The album will be released on April 24th. We want to thank everyone of you for all of the support over the years. Please keep in touch. We'll have a lot of news in the next few months. xo -Pela"
