Michael linked to this article that gives some insight into what's happening right now and in the coming year in the Nashville music scene. The two most interesting things I saw in there are of course about the Theory 8 bands - specifically this paragraph about Forget Cassettes: "Nashville female-fronted indie-rock trio Forget Cassettes are back down to a duo, after bassist Jay Phillips left to focus on his own band, Apollo Up!, and drummer Aaron Ford took the vacant seat in Bobby Bare Jr's touring band. Leader Beth Cameron has reconnected with original drummer Doni Shroader, now a member of . . . Trail of Dead, and the pair will be touring Europe as a two-piece in support of the U.K./Euro release of 2006's Salt on One Little Indian Records (Bjork, The Twilight Singers). (JMW)" I didn't know anything about that... Also, De Novo Dahl signed to Roadrunner Records. I must have missed that announcement as well, but congrats! Previously: Theory 8 CMJ showcase review
