Everything you could ever want (or at least a healthy mix) | Main | SHLSHKD - last show ever
Gah! All my favorite bands are breaking up! Add Pretty Girls Make Graves to the growing list. From Pitchfork (which got if from their site): We are sorry to announce that our upcoming tour in May will be our last. Nick quit the band and the rest of us feel like it wouldn’t be right to continue on without him. The 5 of us feel very lucky to have met and worked with some truly amazing people over the years. Thank you all so much…. Videos and mp3s at Matador. So let's see, that's Sleater-Kinney, Rainer Maria, and now PGMG. Coming tomorrow, a local band. Yeesh. I'm starting to wonder if it's some cosmic balancing act, since a bunch of old favorites (Mission of Burma, Pixies, Sebadoh, Gang of Four) are back in action...

Well, if anyone needs a PGMG fix this band Moonrats are playing at Knitting Factory in LA on February 22. Moonrats has members of PGMG, but I'm not sure who. Either way, I'm gonna check it out.
