Vice has launched a new web site, Vice Broadcastion System, featuring a number of channels full of the sort of content that you would expect from them - especially after their recent travel videos. The most interesting to me are the music sections (one track mind, I know).

With Soundcheck at Southpaw, they take the local Brooklyn venue over on Mondays with one hand-picked band, then film them playing one song. Practice Space (where they film a band in their own practice space) is even more exciting, as I'm always interested in seeing the actual space in which a work (in this case a song) was created.

The site is nice and their use of a Flash-based video controller is appropriate - though the controls look like they could use a little work. It's still in Beta though so I expect some changes as the site grows. But still, it's quite a strong start.
