10:14 AM - The Class of '07
The new issue of The L Magazine has a cover article about "The Class of '07" - Eight bands they think you need to hear this year. I can't say I agree with all of them, but The Muggabears, Jealous Girlfriends, and My Teenage Stride are all obvious choices.

Yup indeed. Haven't seen Jealous Girlfriends, but My Teenage Stride are terrific and have tons of brilliant songs- I think they're going to make it big this year. The Muggabears I've seen and thought they were fantastic live- I'll have to check out their myspace or something.

Agreed - The Muggabears come across great on record and Jealous Girlfriends (though their record is very good) are even better live.

I've missed a bunch of chances to see the Jealous Girlfriends, but I'll have to catch them soon. My Teenage Stride, it looks like are playing the NYC Popfest which I'm very excited about it general.
Should be a great few nights of fun. Probably.
I'm enjoying this here blog, sirs/ma'ams. Stumbled upon it recently.
